Live & Virtual Programs

A cancer diagnosis affects the whole family. The Foundation’s mission is to help ease the burden for families in need. The Patient Financial Assistance program provides funds for living expenses for eligible cancer patients.

Applicants must have a medical diagnosis of cancer, documented by his/her licensed medical provider, and be receiving cancer treatment. Treatment includes currently receiving some form of anti-cancer drug therapy and/or radiation therapy at the time of submitting the Patient Assistance Application.

Funds are limited, and the availability of grant monies may vary based on how much has been raised within a particular community..

Screening Events

Millions of Americans delayed screenings during the pandemic. It is time to reinforce the importance of screenings for early cancer detection. Screenings include: prostate, skin pre-screening, genetics pre-screening, blood pressure, diabetes.

TXOF teams up with local TXO Sites to bring awareness around early cancer detection and we are providing the community with an opportunity to receive screenings.

Essential Kits

Texas Oncology Foundation partners with TXO Sites and the local community to support cancer patients and their families. Communities host and participate in a goods donation drive to make these care packages possible. Donation drives vary per community but typically include chapstick, floss, hand sanitizer, canned foods, toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, pasta, etc. The live event is hosted at the TXO Sites with a drive through distribution of these care packages. (historically each event serves 100 patients)
