Resilience – The Superpower

People are sometimes asked to name their superpower. Superman has amazing strength. Spider-Man is incredibly strong and agile. Then there’s Captain Marvel. Her superpowers include elevated strength, stamina, and durability. These all sound a lot like survivors and caregivers.

Survivors and caregivers have another amazing superpower – resilience. Though the road is tough, they rise through it all. Even on bad days, knowing that you have your own built-in power can help you get through it. Anyone who’s had a cancer experience or cared for someone with cancer knows that your inner resiliency automatically makes you a superhero.

Texas Oncology Foundation celebrates the resilient superhero in all of you.
